The Kinect for Windows SDK beta 1 refresh (version 1.0.12) includes driver and runtime enhancements, as well as documentation improvements. Thanks to the community for the great feedback they’ve provided since we launched the Kinect for Windows SDK beta, which helped with this refresh.

To install this SDK beta:
On this page, click Download to start the Kinect for Windows SDK beta download.
Click Run to start Setup, and follow the instructions in the Setup Wizard.
Or, to save the download on your computer so that you can install it later, click Save.
Thanks for the guide. The SDK is a masterpiece let me tell you and for those reading this guide, try to install this first for much of the toolkits are here.
Note: This is a beta version. No news when the full version of the SDK will appear. I’m guessing they’re waiting for more breakthroughs before releasing it.
The final version of SDK released but it seems to work with Kindle for Windows that is a more expensive kinect !
Is it true ? Can I use this SDK with kinect for xbox ?
